Reporting Concerns | Speak Up, Speak Out

About Speak Up, Speak Out (SUSO) Wisconsin

Speak Up, Speak Out (SUSO) was founded on the principle that proactive approaches are essential to preventing violence in schools. SUSO is a free, statewide tipline for K-12 schools in Wisconsin that provides students, staff, and community members with a safe and confidential way to report concerns. By harnessing the power of bystanders and fostering a culture of help-seeking, SUSO provides opportunities for early intervention and harm prevention.

“In 81% of violent incidents in U.S. schools, at least one person knew about the attacker’s plan in advance but did not report it.”
“Students are more likely to report warning signs of potentially threatening behavior if a confidential reporting system is available to them.”
